I am a firm believer
in makeup primer for days you want your makeup to last into the late hours. I
don't use primer every day but I normally use it on the weekends and always for
special events or parties. I used a primer and finishing spray for my college
graduation and my makeup unbelievably survived 100+ degree weather and my
pictures turned out fine. Makeup primer helps you create a smooth canvas and
fill in any lines or unevenness.
Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer SPF15 is my primer of choice. This primer is really great to work with. It's silky smooth and absorbs into the skin well. It makes my makeup blend in easier and keeps it looking fresh all day. It also makes your makeup more vibrant. It is great for neutralizing my oily skin. It does not contain gluten, fragrance, or oil.
The Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer comes in a glass bottle with a pump and is available in 2 different sizes. I have the .33 oz. size ($18) and they also make a 1 oz. size ($52) and there is a limited edition 2 oz. size ($72) in a tube. The pump works great and never dispenses too much product. I wish the bottle wasn't glass as I worry about it breaking but it is luxurious packaging. This is an expensive product, but worth the splurge.
