Captain America was just as good as I had anticipated. It had humor, drama, and romance which made for a great combination. There's something special about movies that take place in older times, especially comic ones. It was witty, with Abraham Erskine (Stanley Tucci) and Colonel Chester Phillips (Tommy Lee Jones) making comments that lighten the seriousness of the movie and made everyone laugh in the theater. Anticipating Steve Rogers' (Chris Evans) transformation from being weak and not able to win a fight to how he had super amazing strength was awesome (my boyfriend's arm was next to mine during the whole movie, and I swear he was flexing the whole time, he likes to assure me he's the only superhero in my life).
