Parfum

Ah, perfume. Unlike makeup or hair products, this one is difficult. You never want to be the person wearing too much perfume that gives everyone a headache, but you want to be wearing enough that it leaves a nice impression on the people you engage with. These are my favorites, they are subtle but strong so you only need to spritz a few times.

Dior Pure Poison is a perfect every day perfume. The bottle speaks for itself, this has an amazing scent

Miss Dior Cherie is great for going out, and is guaranteed to get you compliments

Chanel No. 5. Need I say more? This classic has a soft, impeccably girly scent. Interesting fact: When Coco Chanel was presented a number of different vials from which to choose her scent, she chose the fifth vial, thus naming it "No. 5"

  1. Hi, are all of these perfumes gluten free? I would normally assume so based on this being a gluten free blog, but I've learned not to make assumptions in the gf world. :) Thanks in advance for your help.

    1. Hi!
Chanel No. 5 Perfume does not contain gluten in its ingredients. Dior does not have gluten in any of their product ingredients. However, as with many cosmetic companies, Dior and Chanel cannot guarantee that gluten does not get in contact with products during production. I hope that helps.

Regarding ingredients in beauty products I review, please see my Disclaimer Regarding Beauty Products on my Disclosure Page.

      Thank you for reading!

  2. :) I asked Chanel about their cosmetics (if they contained gluten) and here is their answer :

Thank you for your email. Client feedback is very important to CHANEL as we believe it is a constructive way to maintain and improve the quality of our products and services.
